The Gecko Run is a three-day dual sport motorcycle orienteering event in the Axarquia region of Andalucía in southern Spain. GPS’s will not be allowed at the event, so using only a map, roadbook, and your navigation skills, we’ll take you on a journey where you will discover hidden Andalucía.
The route will take you both on and off road across the roads, tracks and trails of this beautiful region. You will be camping (possibly wild camping) at two different locations during the event so you must carry all the equipment that you think you will need. We advise you to carry as little as possible – vehicle support is not permitted. This event is suitable for every level whatever bike you ride. Knobblies are not required!
